Studies on the Charge-Transfer Interaction Between Tamoxifen Citrate and Chloranilic Acid
The complex formed as a consequence of the interaction between the electron-acceptor P-chloranilic acid and an electron donor tamoxifen citrate was employed in the assay of the drug in pure powder and tablets. Chloranilic acid was found to form a charge-transfer complex in a 1:1 stoichiometric ratio, with tamoxifen citrate. The wavelength of maximum absorption for the complex was found to...
متن کاملEnergy Transfer in Solid Argon during Ion Bombardment
Solid argon is a model system for studies of radiative and nonradiative processes associated with electronic excitation by MeV light ion bombardment. The electronic excited states, excitons and excimers, have been extensively studied in this material and careful studies have also been made of the ejection (sputtering) of atoms from the surface. The sputtering requires transfer of energy from el...
متن کاملSimultaneous measurement of electron and ion temperatures with helium-like argon spectrum
The helium-like argon spectrum is measured for the plasma in the Large Helical Device (LHD). The electron temperature Te derived from the intensity ratio of the resonance line (1s2 S0 – 1s2p P1) to a dielectronic satellite line (1s22p P1/2 – 1s2p2 D3/2) is consistent with the central Te measured with the Thomson scattering method when the electron density ne has a peaked profile. The ion temper...
متن کاملDamage studies on irradiated tungsten by helium and argon ions in a plasma focus device
Damage of tungsten due to helium and argon ions of a PF device was studied. Tungsten samples were irradiated by 20 shots of the plasma focus device with argon and helium as working gases, separately. The tungsten surface was analyzed by SEM, before and after irradiation. SEM revealed dense blisters with diameters of a few hundred nanometers, on the samples which were irradiated by helium ions, ...
متن کامل/ TH / 57 Charge Exchange Processes between Excited Helium and Fully
We made a classical trajectory Monte Carlo (CTMC) calculation of state selective cross sections for processes between some light ions and excited helium. The results, useful for analysis of spectroscopic data of fusion devices, are in good agreement with theoretical predictions of scaling laws.
